Thank you for your interest in The Keys Foundation Confidently Me! Mentoring program. Our primary goal is to help girls learn how to be confident in who they are; confident in their gifts, talent and abilities; and to be confident in what they bring to the table!
Confidently Me! Pillars
SWAG (Strong, Wise, Accomplished, Girl): focuses on helping young girls make positive decisions and life choices. Topics covered include communication skills, decision-making, financial literacy, goal-setting, higher education, and peer pressure.
HER(O): focuses on helping young girls develop their inner hero, covering important inward-facing topics that impact girls such as confidence, body image, self-worth, and self-presentation.
EDU-STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math): focuses on encouraging young girls to explore education within the STEM fields. We want girls to build confidence in their abilities to learn, understand, compete and thrive in STEM careers.
Confidently Me! utilizes a blended structure that includes both group and 1:1 mentoring.
Mentees are assigned to a specific Mentor for the duration of the program.
The program will meet two (2) times per month (September – May). There are also additional “special outings or field trips” that will be scheduled throughout the program.
Each mentor is responsible for completing 1:1 sessions with their assigned mentee as needed.
Time Commitments – Mentors and Mentees must be able to make program time commitments.
Mentor Background Checks
All mentors have to pass a criminal background check and complete training before they are allowed to work with mentees.
There is a $25 program fee, if mentee is accepted into program. No other fees apply.
Spaces in the program are limited! To begin the enrollment process, you must submit a completed Mentee Application Form by 8/1/20. Incomplete forms will not be processed.
